The “Hobby” of collecting coins is far much older than Postage Stamp collecting. Coins existed and were in use over 2000 years ago, yet first postage stamp was issued 1848, so this is much younger collecting field.

I started my interest in Coin and Banknotes after obtaining a larger philatelic collection where I found number of different coins and banknotes. The majority of coins and notes appeared of various age and
condition. Hence, my curiosity led me to find more about these items history, such as origin-country, age of individual item, name and denomination, value and if these items were in current circulation or discontinued. Also I examined naturally is the item original or a counterfeit?

Progressively this part of my hobby also increased in size, where duplications need to be dispatched, to create a bit of space as I am always on lookout for something new!
